Why me, Why now! Because you were ready! As someone else said, it can happen whatever engine you're sitting behine (or in front of). Just out of interest - you said you climbed to altitude. What was your cruise height? Let me guess - 4500 or 5500? That doesn't leave you many choices with a glide ratio of 8 or 9 to 1, but climbing higher in a Cessna takes a long time. A big advantage we have in Cozy's you can look forward to is that while the Cessna is climbing to 4000 the Cozy can climb to 10,000. Double the height AND double the glide ratio makes for a LOT more choices if you ever need them. Add to this that cruising at 180 kts and gliding at 110 or so gives you ability to zoom another 1000 or so. Altitude and speed are your friends. John
