I was with our Sales Rep, who is busting his butt to afford his next condo, on a customer visit. He had the customer all psyched that he could use our widgets for his next design. So once we are with the customer I explain our part is an excellent device, however it is NOT a good fit for his design, and I not to use it! Sales Rep's expression was priceless. :) I did explain another way for his to implement his design, using another product -- which our Sales Rep also carried on his line card. Lost a sale but gained a customer for life! >General observation: When the guy that owns the company >answers with, "I'll have to ask my engineer", it's a hint that >this is a wheeler-dealer you're conversing with. >Best Regards, >Dale R. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
