Dale;

I’m sorry to say that I have decided not to make the trip tomorrow, and just canceled my hotel reservations.  It does look like I could now get to the airport; but this week has been very disturbing and enervating, and since the friend that was going to accompany me has fire damage at his home and business and would not be coming; I just can’t summon the motivation to make trip, just to be there for most of one day. I don’t even want to go to Ramon yet and see the devastation – too many friends there involved.

I’m glad that Paul is there to cover, even though his perspective may be a bit different than mine.  Perhaps you could extend my apologies to the group; tell them that I am very pleased with the 20B installation in my Velocity (including the LS1 coils), and put the URL to my website on the board.

 http://members.cox.net/alg3/airplane.htm and my e-mail alg3@cox.net if anyone would like to ask me questions.

Was he accurate, when he stated that everyone who has used the EC2 has had problems?  He made that claim in the context of the "35 little wires" that have to be hooked up; so understandably, there is a lot of opportunity do it wrong

I’m sure that he is not accurate that everyone using the EC2 has had problems.  I had no problems with the wiring; but I did have a number of frustrating operational issues that have taken a year to get mostly resolved.  Most were related to noise issues which are installation dependant, and some were peculiar the 3-rotor version, which Tracy hadn’t had the opportunity to test until fairly recently.

I’m not the worlds expert on engine controllers, but if I thought there was a more suitable one available I would probably have it.
