They are nice and facilitate freeing up a lot space above the engine. But... I'm curious about long terms problems. For starters, the vbelt does not rap much around the main (driving) pulley. It probably needs an idler pulley to avoid slipping/premature wear (even with an underdrive main pulley). Also, the bracket is 1/8-3/16th?(IIRC) aluminum and surprisingly flexible. It does not surprise me that some have broken.
