Another thing to remember. The EC2 provides
for the fuel injection control as well as the ignition. Paul, you did
not state whether you also needed a EFI computer (could be using a carb
or Ellison Throttle body for example), but if you do want EFI then the
EC2 provides both injector and ignition control in one small
inexpensive package.

Lynn, Thank you for the reply and idea. I know very little about
electronic ignition and there seems to be many ways of building a DIS.
I leaning towards the RWS EC2 and six LS1 coils as it's been done on
the Corvair engine and I already have the coils. I wanted an
individual coil per cylinder to limit the loss to a single cylinder in
the event of a coil failure.
