Subject: [FlyRotary] Old = Epoxy
I have used some old epoxy that must be at = least 10=20 yrs. old, the hardener in one container had crystallized some,  = heated it=20 to salvage as much as I could and it set up and hardened OK.  I = am using=20 it for cosmetic and interior stuff.  It's that old drop dead = Epilite=20 stuff that came with the project I bought.  I had some Aeropoxy = that=20 didn't seem to set up right (stayed sticky to the touch), so scraped = the part=20 ($75 worth) and built another.  After a year, the first part = finished=20 curing.  Now am using it by cutting it up and making stuff with=20 it.

On another note, I dropped the EAA three or = four=20 years ago, felt they had little to offer for the money.  Used the = money=20 on aircraft parts instead.  I think the insurance issue is what = drove my=20 action.
