Hi Pat,
thanks for the quick reply!
Well, then I will just order a copy of Alternative Engines 3.
Do you still have my creditcard number?
I will have to check the listing when I am back home. At this time I am in a mine and internet access broke down about 90%.
Email works, but nothing else.....
Best Regards,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
I guess I missed this note, sorry about that.
Pat, how is it coming with the 3rd "Alternative Engine" book?
We pre-sold a bunch of them during OSH, but the dust hasn't settled yet so I really don't know where we are with this. It's looking pretty good so far, but I can't project a publication date just yet. I do know however that the sales aren't where I hoped they would be, but subscriptions are up, so I may still be in good shape to print the book anyhow.
I am back in the saddle, and would like to order one! If the print doesn't happen, lay it over into subscription extension for Contact!....
Great! That'll help.
Last: In the last Contact! you mention there will be a special issue about Paul Lipp's prop.
Will this be reprints of articles only or will this include previously unprinted info? (If I have the past issues, do I need this intermediate version?)
Everything in the special Paul Lipps issue is a reprint, and that's why it isn't included as part of a current subscription. Anyone who has been a subscriber for more than a few years already has all the articles. We made the special issue because any issue that Paul has been published in before has completely sold out. With the current issue announcing a commercial effort to get the Ellipse propeller to market, I knew there would be a new interest in the back issues, but I didn't want to reprint them all, so I complied all of Paul's articles into one "reprint".
Scroll down a few lines until you see "Issue 88.5"
http://www.contactmagazine.com/backissu.html There you'll see a complete listing of what's in issue #88.5 and from which issue the article came. Then check to see if you have those issues; if you do, you don't need
88.5. If you end up needing or wanting #88.5, scroll to the very bottom of the page for ordering info.
