For me, his numbers were mighty close to being perfect. While this all sounds nice, rest assured that you will recalibrate the engine many times before you fly, so = you'll find that it's not a big deal to do once you learn the ropes. I've = actually joked that Tracy puts a randomizer function in the calibrations that = works for the first 5 hours, just to make sure that you become familiar with = the procedure :-) =20 As for the upgrade procedure, I don't know what the standard procedure = will be. The upgrade requires that you change two chips, and only takes = about 5 minutes to do. The problem is that these chips require a special puller = to get them out. I'm guessing that he will prefer to do this himself, but = in my case, he sent the chips (I'm an electronics tech). =20 =20 Are you going to Shady Bend? If so, why not call Tracy, and see if he = can burn some chips for you by next weekend.
