Also, where is your pressure
sensor Todd? It must be after the engine, and before the
pump.
It's connected to the coolant
header tank, on the outlet of the engine.
For normal
operation, a 95C switch might (?) trigger too late in this rear sensor
fitting, but you can get switches that work at different
temps.
I was thinking of the thermal
switch from Davies Craig. It is supposed to be adjustable, so I figured 95C
would be a conservative figure. If I wasn't planning on returning the original
pump for warranty inspection and ordering a new one, I'd just find a switch
locally, however since it will be shipped in the same box....
Actually my folks are going to Oz for a vacation on Nov1 and are planning on
spending a week in Sydney visiting friends, so I think I will just give my
Dad the old pump and he can hand deliver it to Leon and bring me back a new
one. Now as long as Dad doesn't get lost ????
