This is the basic dyno. The pillow blocks should align with the center of
mass of the engine/reduction unit if any. The push rod that operates the scale
is on an arm that is 1 foot from the centerline of the pillow blocks.
Put one on each side to account for reverse rotation.
A system for limiting travel of the engine mount both up and down is
required to protect the scales when the engine shakes on shut down. Or locks up
and tries to jump off of the stand.
