<... Boy do I need a VSI (or an EM-2) ...>
Or perhaps a watch
with a sweep second hand :o)
I saw one
of those in a museum once :-)
Actually, I
have a pretty cool altimeter watch, but the VSI on it only has 3 digits,
and displays --- if you go over 999. You message reminded me to change the scale from ft/min to
m/min. With some conversion, that gives me close to 3300
ft/min. Of course I also just ordered a 2-1/4" VSI from Spruce, so
I can put it where the fuel gauge is when I get the EM-2 to watch the
fuel.
Cheers,
Rusty
Hi, Rusty.....If
for any reason Aircaft Spruce should backorder your VSI, I have a 2 1/4"
IVSI (Instant Vertical Speed Indicator) that gives you 0 to 6000 fpm
indications. It came out of a military Helicopter, so it is very good quality.
(You know how the military specs and buys the "best of". I can give you a very
attactive price. Sorry I didn't know earlier that you needed one.
