Ed Anderson ---------------------------- Lots of RV's have full inverted systems. In fact my old RV-8 had an Ellison TBI and Christen inverted oil system, and yes, I did fly it upside down :-) Jim, to answer your question- the tanks are built reasonably early in construction, and it's fairly easy to install the inverted pick-up at that time. It's reallllllly hard to do it later. That means that lots of people put it in, even though they will likely never use it. Ed said he forgot some of the details. Trust me Ed, that's why you have it :-) All that being said, my RV-3B wings were quick-build, and the tanks were already done, so I won't be installing a flop tube in this plane.
