Right!  So long as the injectors "disable" switches are activated such that they are "ON" (providing Power) then all four injectors will always have power/voltage.  But, as Bob mentioned, the EC2 will only ground the leads to the primaries (turning them on to flow fuel) while the manifold pressure is below the staging point (approx 17 " Hg).

So with the injectors switches ON they should see voltage on all four resistors and all four injectors all the time those switches are ON (providing power).

Hi Al,

The injectors should have power at all times.  The other side of the
injector is grounded to activate it.

Chris;

I'm not sure exactly what you were doing, but it would be normal for the
secondary to not be powered when the injectors are staged.

It's WAY too soon for you too get discouraged, and I'd suggest that patience
would be the better part of valor.  I know it's exciting to have your engine
running.  Now forget about it until you get your EM2 fully functional so you
can have a better idea of what's going on, other than just whether it is
running or not running.  And get a prop on there so you can get some load on
the engine.  Mixture may be too rich/lean, plugs may get fouled from running
no load; whatever.

(Oops; I guess that sounds like preaching). Oh well.

FWIW,

All the best,

Al
