guys, I got my IFR in a C-172. In reviewing the comments, I think that
there is a middle ground. The L-IV is a bit fast for learning. You need
to start slow, and get the fundamentals down. Then, once you have the procedures
learned, you can go faster.
To
put it all together, I think that you should learn in a slow airplane.
Then re-train in the fast glass. That way, you get the most possible benefit.
You learn at an appropriate pace to your level of skill. Then you apply
it to the plane you will use.
