Ed,
If I had had this "toy" a year or so ago, I'd have done much less head scratching (and would probably have more hair on my head today).  For those of us that aren't real engineers, this should make this very important piece of the rotary installation much simpler.  For me, its after the fact (radiator and oil cooler is installed), but it does help me sleep better knowing that my cooling system is sized correctly.
