The new stuff is 100% compatible with aircraft brake = components and can even be mixed with the older 5606 with no problem - = other than the mixture will have a flashpoint somewhere in-between the = two. But, others have reported successfully using some DOT approved (Silicon = based I believe), but be careful - some of the Automobile type brake = fluid is supposed to be incompatible with aircraft brake components (the = seals I presume) and can cause the assembly to malfunction.
