That is when my wife is on board,
hoping for 2K when solo or with more adventerous passangers. Hoping a 20B
in an airframe designed for an IO360 gets me there. If not, I have
strongly thought about a turbo later on. Al may already know the answer
to this one.
I guess I missed the subtle hidden
question. I get a nice 1500 fpm on climb-out at a density altitude of
about 3000’, with a FP cruise prop. That with an 84” pitch
prop. I’ve talked to Catto about taking out a couple of inches, so
I can get a bit higher engine rpm.

Joe, looks nice, is the fpm at 700
something like a handycap in golf, you should really get some great time to
climb numbers. JohnD
