Neat idea, Rusty.

IF I ever decide to build another test stand, I think I would adapte your idea.  Taking it home to work on it and to the airport to run it sounds like a good neighbor policy {:>)_

Subject: [FlyRotary] Single rotor test vehicle

Greetings,

I've been working toward getting the single rotor engine running on a test stand with the new Autoflight drive.  Once I do that, I'll decide if it gets installed on the Dominator gyro, or if it stays on it's test stand and I order a Rotax 582.

As test stands go, I'm fairly proud of this idea.  This is a Harbor Freight trailer that cost about $179, and I've added some steel angle from the local hardware store.  I'll deck the front of it, and set my fuel tank, pumps, ext, then hang a radiator on the rear uprights.  I can take it home to work on the engine, then take it to the airport to run it.  Pretty handy :-)

Rusty (hoping for the drive tomorrow, but looking unlikely)
