The real question, Bob, is ... are you responding to yourself? {:>)

Good points - rust can really make a mess of the iron housings.  The O ring groove does not have much wall thickness between it and  the coolant galley voids in some areas of  the casting - just a small amount of rust can further weaken that area until the metal fails.

Bob,

I bought from JDM and am satisfied with what I got!  But be careful when buying a used engine. A lot of time coolant or water will make it into the engine and rust the side housings. I recommend tearing the engine down as soon as you get it!  This way you will not have any problems or if the engine is already rusted you can get your money back.

Bob (Am I talking to myself?)

JDM is the importer I purchased my first one from and it was and excellent engine. the other two were individuals selling abandoned projects. One complete and one without rotors. Ebay is always a risk, but so far so good with me

Bob, any sellers in particular that a guy should be looking at? I've started to look seriously at my next project and am bouncing back and forth between buying aRenisis and p-porting it or a 20b.
