It generally sees attached files just fine and allows me to move them around however I need to. Some email programs embed the photos into the email (like yours) that make the photos visible as soon as you open the email. My webmail client doesn't have the facility to allow me to get at those embedded emails. No biggie, I just pull the mail offline to Eudora and it handles everything, regardless of the format.
