I did end up with 1", 2", 2 1/4", and 3 1/8" holes when done since I mixed aviation and automotive steam gauges. ISS builds van's gauges and are located in portland also. they must be able to supply you with a casing. mechanical oil gauges only cost about $10. I bought a differential air pressure gauge once when I built a mechanical AOA device.
