Photos for Dave
Actually, Thomas, I am enjoying it too much to
really want to turn it into a product {:>). Then I'll have to
deal with "customers" {:>). But I think there is a place for a
small number - particularly in aircraft where there is not much instrument
space.
But, yes, it is a bit addictive - I have more
want-to-do projects on the list that I have years left to finish them.
I've had a prototype AOA sitting on my work bench for
some time that I want to get into my aircraft for some test flights, but
finally decided I had to get something to a "final" and finished
state. I was thinking about hooking it into a GPS for gallons/mile,
fuel to next check point, etc, but decided that if I didn't stop it at this
point - It would never get finished.
I would really like to get to work on a very low cost
wing leveler (not autopilot) using MSM gyros and accelerometers - I have
most of a design, but no time(yet).
Thanks again for the complement.
Ed

Photos for Dave
Ok Dave,
Just for you, here are a few screens from the new
color graphics display (1.5" on the diagonal). The photos don't do
the display justice - its bright, high contrast, does not wash out in
bright light and can be viewed from a 160 deg angle - something you
couldn't do with an LCD.
One photo shows the EC2 fuel map (both the low and high rpm maps)
along with manifold pressure and indication of which bar is being
used. The other 3 photos shows the Operational Screen and a
colored ball indicates the A/F Ratio
red-lean,yellow-medium,green-rich.
More photos to follow
