And now for another wacky question...  I read in the archives that the Renesis runs the stock oil level one inch above the bottom of the engine. 
 
While it's probably not ideal, would it hurt anything if I ran the oil level in the single rotor (13B REW parts) above the bottom of the engine a bit?  I know there would be some power loss, and frothing from the chain being in the oil, but other than that, is it a significant problem?  
 
This all goes along with my poor man's dry sump system.  It would be a way to make sure the drain line stays submerged, and to supplement the 2.5 quart capacity of the oil/water cooler I'm using.
