This is something that I've thought about as well. Attached pic shows my turbo outlet right behind my left rad. I've often thought about how much radiant heat from the pipe is being absorbed by the coolant. A heat shield here would be simple to fabricate and install, however I weigh this with another question about how beneficial the cooling of my turbo is? I plan to send out this piece along with the rest of my exhaust for ceramic coating on the inside, which will reduce the amount of radiant heat.

      Anybody else have any thoughts on this subject?
