Go to the Sun-N-Fun electrical tent and sit through a lecture by a
beautiful woman. They will tell you what not to use (zip ties) and
what to use (lacing).

Yesterday I ordered the Koro seal lacing from Brown aircraft in Florida to
tie and secure the wiring to the engine mount. This lacing was used on the
older Pipers and by helicopter manufactures. It is neat and does not eat up
the wires or the tubing and IMHO looks nicer than cushion clamps stuck all
over the place. Take a look, if one is handy, under the hood of a Piper
Tri-Pacer, all fuel, vent lines and electric is secured with this. JohnD
