This lacing was used = on the older Pipers and by helicopter manufactures. It is neat and does = not eat up the wires or the tubing and IMHO looks nicer than cushion = clamps stuck all over the place. Take a look, if one is handy, under = the hood of a Piper Tri-Pacer, all fuel, vent lines and electric is = secured with this.
