Since you guys are on the electric noise page:
The other day I went for another short flight over the beach and again I
had a persistent study noise in my headset after takeoff. On the
ground with engine running it was fine.
It stopped for a moment when I pushed on the prop pitch adjustment
switch on the Ivo prop, than started again. I checked the brushes on the prop and they are fine. it was suggested that the two floating wires from the reversible prop switch to the brushes act as an antenna. When I use the switch they get grounded? Installed a small capacitor between the two wires, but had no chance to fly it again. We are under a huge TFR for the Big Game. Did not have this problem before. Maybe someone else had the same experience?
Thanks.
