Did you do any analysis in Cosmos ? I did several analysis of my gear (sldrpt) and (sldasm) in Cosmos. Just curious to know what you thought of the results if you had done any Cosmos. Also I have a hudge interest in Landing gear. I'm finallizing my design for my Long Ez now. I have several books on Landing gear design with all the pertinent math examples. I would love to see your gear design, maybe I can learn a few things. Do the gear retract into the fuse? How did you solve for the landing loads? Do you have prop clearance for full deflection of the dampening device with a flat tire? Are you going to do a drop test? what is your drop test height. (Sorry for the 21 questions) Tony
