True Rusty, they are sure flying on the edge. I've never understood how they scored those but, never-the-less it leaves very little for error. I'm suprised they haven't had more accidents. I've heard rumour that they might bring some of those races over the N.A.? I wonder how the FAA would sanction races which involve flying under bridges and between structures at less than the 1500ft clearnace currently required? [some of those pylon's you have to fly through in knife edge correct?]

Hi Jarrett,

Some of the red gates are knife edge, and you have to have the correct wing up or down as well.  They did have a race in San Francisco in 2006, but didn't fly under any bridges :-)   They have a web site with all the info you can stand, and some videos as well.   http://www.redbullairrace.com/index.php

Cheers,
Rusty (off to FedEx)
