Fiberglass tanks in gas stations are Vinil Esther. That is the only material
that should be used for fuel tanks. I personally have switched to VE on any fiberglass work, for various reasons, this is one.

The information that I have had over the years are that Polyester and Vinyl Ester does not adhere well to epoxy. So if your building with epoxy do you see a problem with sealing the tanks with Vinyl Ester.

While I'm on the subject, with aircraft like the Delta Wing where you can install stand alone tanks, might I suggest the plastic type tanks used in some of the amphibian kit planes, they seem ideal to me.
