                Glad to hear you made it back safely. I made my own tip tanks so I read with great interest and am curious as to what condition you find inside your tanks.

Were you not able to ask for a “precautionary” landing from tower? I did this once when I detonated my engine and tower gave me immediate priority without the hassle of a emergency (did that once too J) Even if you don’t want to declare a problem, I’m sure tower would like to know if there may be a problem complying with instructions. Even if they act pissed off, I’m sure they’d rather not have a more serious accident on their watch.
