I am trying to = calculate battery=20 size and reserve for my installation, does anyone have data on operating = current=20 draw for the following:
    EC2 with GM coils = and Mazda=20 injectors.
    Fuel = Pump
    Starter = current.

Hi Joe,

Here is some data that I collected from the old = RV-3. =20 At one point, I know I measured the starter current, but can't = find it=20 anywhere.

Rusty

NOT=20 RUNNING:

Fuel=20 pump 1- 6.2 amps

Fuel=20 pump 2- 6.0 amps

Facet transfer pump- 1.1 amps

Davies Craig EWP- 4.4 amps

EC-2=20 (also ignition coils)- .3 amps

EM-2- .6 amps

Master switch only- 6.4 amps (what is all=20 this?)

Radio (receive mode)- .7 amps

Transponder- =20 .5 amps

CD=20 player- .3 amps

RUNNING:

Minimum config includes FP-1, EWP, EC-2, EM-2, = and of=20 course ignition coils.  = Alt is=20 turned off because the master is off.   12.1 amps at 1500 rpm, = 14.1 amps=20 at 3000 rpm.   That = was as much=20 as I dared run standing next to the plane, using the meter on the = battery cable=20 in the baggage compartment. =20

Max=20 load, as I normally fly, includes everything.  Alternator is off though, = because I=20 couldn’t measure the load at the main battery lead with the alt = supplying power-=20 22 amps at 1500 rpm. =20
