How bad you want a Hardinge? It ain't an HLV, but I have a HCT chucker that
I could make you a DEAL on.  It won't cut threads or tapers, and it doesn't
have a tailstock, but it's a Hardinge with collet closer, variable speed,
coolant pump.... Mike C.

If I had a reason for a dedicated 2nd op machine I'd buy a chucker in a heartbeat... unfortunately I'd rather find a machine with a full list of capabilities... an HLV-H would be dandy, but I can't afford both that _and_ a Lancair, at least not at this point in time  8<( .  I'll probably wind up with an older SouthBend 10-or-12x36 and be happy having graduated up from my toy mini-lathe.  But thanks for the offer just the same.
