Kevin; 2 or 3 years back I went to a fly-in
breakfast and while on downwind a guy calls into the airport and
says, I'm a blind pilot 8 miles out, everyone look for me. That sure
cleared the airspace for the next ten minutes. He didn't use his N number,
so no one knew who was calling, or if he ever landed. Scary.
