If I do remove them is it worth placing them in the new holes I'll be drilling to place the secondaries on the side of the stock six port manifold vs. the top (Tracy's idea from 1998 or so). I appears that it may be possible to push them out to the inside (or outside), but I can't tell for sure and don't necessarily want to break them if there would be some benefit in reinstalling them later.
