I can tell you of failures of other manufactures gear sets that I = have seen and most importantly, performed diagnostics on to find THE = CAUSE of failure, no sense in replacing the part if you do not have a = cause of failure, thats called a come-back. 99% of the time it is lube = related, or lack of, some were due to over torque conditions that shed = the gearing itself or exploded the housing, some high mileage units due = to thrust washer wear, but again thats lube.
