Hi
Thomas,
Its a formula called Decalin TCP Plus (see below message). Chris
provided me with 16 oz of the formula early this summer, but hangar work and
other stuff kept my aircraft barricaded until my door was operational. Its
an experiment, but if it extends the useful life of the plugs and prevents SAG,
it will be a nice thing to have.
From what I have read, the normal TCP formula used in
aircraft engines for lead removal, is not likely to work with our rotary engines
because it apparently requires a high cylinder head temperature (above 350 F)
for the lead removal chemical reaction to be effective. We will see if the
"Plus" perhaps overcomes this limitation.
It requires 1/2 oz for 10 gallons of 100LL fuel. So if it does turn
out to work as we hope, I'll simply mix 1 3/4 oz with my 2 cycle oil in the same
18 oz bottles I fly with when I fill them with oil. I 've flow six hours
with the stuff and no adverse reaction by the engine , so plan to
continue.

Ed,
SAG sounds like it
could really ruin your day.
The product was designed to react with lead, so it
should work for you. I suggest you try Decalin TCP Plus and see if it
does.
I have enough of the magic ingredient to make a
single 16 oz bottle for you, let me know what you want to do.
