I had made notes from someone who had posted about
using a ford 351 clevland thermostat housing / water
neck to bolt up to the stock gen 2 water pump.
However, I searches of flyrotary are not yielding
results prior to 2005.

I purchased the neck and elongated the mount holes to
get a perfect fit per the original posters suggestion.
However, I purchased the neck with a bung on the top,
but I don't know what size plug to put in the bung.

I have tried a 3/8" NPT fitting, but as soon as the
threads engage it binds.

I would like to avoid going to Lowes hardware tomorrow
and getting a sampling of bolts around 3/8" in size to
find out what fits it.

Any help is appreciated...

Thx...
-Scott
