It has been rumored that a fellow by the name of Rusty
Duffy
built an RV-3 with a rotary engine. Now I know
such a plane exists
since I own it, however, at last
years rotary roundup at Tracy and Laura's
house there
was no one who had ever seen him!!!! Some thought
that I
was he in disguise.
He posts AND tries to be
funny :-) Good to hear from you Rich.
As for being at the
rotary roundup, that's what started the whole RV-3 thing. I flew there in
the RV-8 I had previously, so YES, I have been there :-)
I had thought I might
make this years roundup in the current RV-8 project, but there's no way
now. My schedule slipped a bit, but not nearly as much as other RV-8
projects I could name :-) I'll be flying in November though.
