I am flying with new rotor housings.  I rebuilt a 1991 turbo and used the original housings which were in good shape.  When I rebuilt after my number one rotor ate an apex seal a couple years ago, I replaced them with new rotor housings.  Have approx 60-70 hours on them.

I have no problem using used rotor housings as long as they are in good shape - no crome flaking on the edges and no chatter marks on the rubbing surfaces.

How many flying rotaries used new rotor housings?  Any recommendations?

Thanks
