I had the privilege
of attending Dave Atkins forum at Oshkosh. He explained that the Renesis engine
had the exhaust moved from the rotor housing to the side plate, just like the
intake. Advantage, tailoring the exhaust opening. The HP was up a small amount,
but the figure was developed at a higher RPM [to be expected] The water pump is
significantly lower, which fits our application a lot better then the tall pump
housing on the current series of engines. It's new and clean, not used and
dirty, but can't say how much that is worth, except on the display line at
S&F or Oshkosh.
