I have a bit of a problem, I am using GM coils on my engine, and am making (or trying at least) plug wires. I ordered some bulk MSD plug wire, and boots and terminals. But after ordering two sets of what I thought was the right ends for the coils, have gotten to where I have no idea what I need. Does GM have the terminals I need, is there something I am missing? I would have thought MSD would make the correct terminals for these coils, but cannot seem to find anything even close from them.

Hi Ben,

Depending on how long you need the wires to be, you might be able to find an off the shelf MSD set that fits.  The ones I got were only a foot long, but I got the impression they had other stock lengths as well.  Here's the note I made when I ordered mine.

Cheers,
Rusty (finishing the last of the FWF details by tomorrow)

As for spark plug wires, I called MSD, and asked about wires with LS1 ends, and they confirmed that they only made them for specific engines.  The rep asked how long I needed the wires to be, and I told him about a foot.  He searched through the records, and found a part number MSD-32829, which is the 8.5mm super conductor wire set for a V8 truck.  All the wires are one foot long, with works perfectly for me.  This set is red, and was in stock at Summit for about $55.  There is also a new black set with the part number of MSD-32823, but Summit didn’t list those yet.
