David, I've used both gaskets and the silicone sealer for the intake manifolds and between the two I prefer the silicone.  I've  used the gray and the orange (high temp) , but any resistant to gas and oil should work.

Hey Ed, did you use a gasket between upper & lower intakes or silicone sealer.  Now one for the RV guys with Fred Breeze eng. mount (www.conversionconcepts.com)   how much eng. movement do you get under the cowel, I am setting clearances now with a min. of   .5" , but please let me know if I'm to tight,  I think thats it for now,  thanks again,  David  RV6A Rotary.
