Hi all,
Bobby, I am running 10A fuses to power 2 of the LS1 coils. None have blown so far. (200 hrs).
I'm finally back from Iraq! So after about 2 months worth of Honey doos I will start putting the RV back together. I have a new larger radiator and plan to install it will dedicated cold air. I am painting and going to complete a long list of improvements that I have been wanting to make including muffler, cowl flap, soundproofing and interior, and electrical system changes not to mention putting the wings back on. My goal is 1 year before next flight.
I also salvaged a comm antenna off an old Iraqi MiG-29 that I plan to install in use on the RV. That should be pretty cool if it works.

Bobby,
I'm running the 3 lead coils on one circuit and the 3 trailing coils on another. Initially, I tried 10A fuses. It would sometimes blow the fuse when first powered up. Going to a 15A fuse corrected the problem. Its my understanding that there is an initial surge, then they settle down to a much lower current draw. I suspect that the current draw increases with rpm. Maybe someone else can confirm that.
