Thomas,
I hate to tell you this story but I ordered from Rupert in Feb. '06. Sent him my CC# He notified me when the ship left port. The next information I had was about 60 days later A trucking company 40 miles away (Michigan) called and said I could pick up my engine. I paid approx. $130 shipping fee and $56 storage fee loaded the engine and went home.
It is hard to believe things have changed so much in 3 months???

I am in the process of filling out the paperwork for the RX-8 engine from Rupert.
The Homeland security, And the EPA are now requiring a lot of documentation, for importing engines.
Anyone else run into these forms?
EPA Form 3520-1,   EPA Form 3520-21.
These forms, along with a copy of my U.S. Passport, filled out correctly, or a $270,000.00 fine, and or imprisonment for up to 5 years! Now, if they will give me a cow, that was raised in Canada, along with the engine, they would be able to track me better. ( the engine, was shipped through Vancouver B.C.)
