My bad, John... I have both the EC and EM here and have all their stuff sitting together.. I was thinking temp probes in the sense of liquids/OAT/intake air.. not the high temp thermocouple.

If Tracy doesn't get back to him soon, I will send the manuals in an email to him on request.

Hmmm. The question said "EC2". The EC2 (engine controller) comes with the only sensor it needs, for intake temp.  If you meant EM2 (engine monitor) it uses standard J and K thermocouples for EGT and CHT plus a few other sensors. The best way might be to get the manual in electronic form if Tracy will supply it.

Gang,

Sent an email to Tracy, but I know he is very busy, wondering what people have used for a temp sensor for the EC2. I didn't find anywhere in the manual about any part numbers or suppliers. Will any thermocouple do? I am at the point where I need to do this, but have no temp probe. Suggestions???

"standard" VDO sensors.. they are available in 250, 300 and 400 degree probes. Summit racing has em. Do a search on VDO and gauge senders.
