The K&N also has a burst strength of 550 pounds. Champion and Wicks make most of the aftermarket marked filters. Neither one will stoop to making as poor a filter as the Fram.
 
Friends don't let friends use Fram. I have exploded a PH8A Fram on the race car. Never again.
