Yep, I was waiting for Buly to get his first flight in before I did mine - you know "age before beauty" (or was that "pearls before swine")! How's the 40 hours and your house (since I know they are connected!)? Did you get your plane moved? I did my second flight today - 1.3 hours with lots of turns from gradual 10 degree to 60 degrees. I also ran the engine hard - full throttle - for about 30 minutes in mostly straight and level flight - but with the gear down still. I was getting 140kts at 5300RPM - but that's all I could get. The oil temps were also hitting 200 degrees - so I backed off and let things cool down to 180. The next flight I'm slated to put the gear up and we'll try it again and see what kind of RPM/speed I get. I'm not looking to test the upper end of the speed yet - just want to know I can get to 150kts for now.
