This morning after 11 years of building my highly modified Cozy MK-IV
took to the air at KFX Fort Lauderdale Executive. It was a beautiful
bright morning with temps in the 80s.
Test pilot was Richard Richmond (LEZ driver). He made one missed
approach and landed after making two circuits around the pattern at
90 Knots with the nose gear extended all the time. His report was
that the plane was flying very well and the controls were smooth. The
cooling needs some "technical adjustments", but nothing else. Now I
have to get some instruction in my own plane. All my possible CZ
instruction hopefuls wiggled out of it :)
