Good to hear that you have your 150 flying, Ken.  Now given the amount of time you have spent on your 150, you could just about have your Rv-4 done, right? {:>). Just pulling your leg, talked to Diana at Bills and she told me the humongous undertaking you have ahead of you this year, decade,......

But, that is absolutely the last excuse - you hear? {:>)

Hi Ed,
What bird are you talking about?  I get to fly my C150 occasionally.  Hope to fly it tommorrow if the weather holds???? (but I am NOT going to admit how little the C150 got to fly last year!)

Jim, Kelly is use to being sandblasted by those Oklahoma winds, so doubt your comments got under his skin {:>).  The only person likely to take longer than Kelly to get his bird flying is Ken Powell.  Right, Ken?

That's really the only way to go, if you are not comfortable flying in the bird you build because of something you did/didn't do then its pretty much a wasted effort, so taking the time to do it to meet your personal criteria is the only way to go.

Looking back on when I first started my project, the only thing FWF components  that are still there that was there on my first flight is the exhaust headers and the motor mount {:>). Well, the ignition and fuel system is unchanged (so far)  But, then I do experiment a bit.

By the way, Kelly, missed seeing you at Bill's Flyin - thought I was going to have to share the camper with you.

Sorry Kelly it was not my intention to hurt you.
My only intention was to try to motivate you to complete your project.
If you are concerned that you will not have anything to do once your
aircraft is ready to fly .. don't give it another thought.
Judging by the experiences of the members of this list you will never
run out of tinkering possibilites.
So just do it.
Jim

Ahhh.......The truth sometimes hurts Jim.......I do have a major flaw in my personality
(and others).........If  I am not happy with a given part of my project I have the patience
of Job to find a solution that is satisfactory to me........A trait that does not lend itself
to speedy work !!
